How to make homemade Tofu

Homemade Tofu


4 to 5 cups of Soya milk to a boil while stirring continuously.
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
half a cup of water
Nut Milk bag


  1. Bring 4 to 5 cups of Soya milk to a boil while stirring continuously. Reduce the heat to medium, while continuously stirring, and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes or until a layer of foam appears.
  2. Remove the mixture and add your coagulant (1 tablespoon of lemon juice mixed with half a cup of water). Mix until the milk start to curdle then cover the pot for 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Strain the contents through a Nut Milk bag, press as much of the liquid out as possible.
  4. Leave it for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove from the Nut Milk bag and place in cold water to help the tofu firm up. Store it in water in the fridge. Your Tofu will last for 1-2 weeks when refrigerated.
