Cucumber and Sprout Salad

Cucumber and Sprout Salad

Ingredients:

1 large cucumber
1 tomato
¼ cup preferred mixed sprouts
½ Onion
½ lemon (juice)
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ avocado
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

For the mixed sprouts
Soak your preferred seeds (we recommend lentil and alfalfa seeds) overnight.
Transfer seeds to your sprouter, drain and rinse.
Ensure to keep the sprouts moist but not wet by watering and draining twice a day and keep away from direct sunlight.
Your sprouts will be ready in 3-5 days.

For the salad
Insert the 4mm blade into your Spyra-Gyra and cut the cucumber.
Cut the onion and tomato into cubes.
Slice your avocado lengthwise.
Mix the cut up produce in a bowl and add your sprouts, olive oil and lemon juice.
Transfer the salad into a plate.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Garnish with avocado.
