How to assemble an Oscar Juicer

  • Assembling an Oscar juicer is very easy. Firstly open the locking clip by turning to the open position. Insert the drum and turn the locking clip to the close position. Place the auger/screw into the drum, then place the strainer. Close with the drum cap. Place the hopper onto your feeding tube.
  • For juicing: Place the auger/screw into the drum, then insert the juicing strainer into the drum. Place the drum cap onto the front end of the drum and turn it anti-clockwise until it locks firmly into place. (If using an Oscar Juicer DA1000 or the Oscar Juicer Classic, place the adjustable pressure cap onto the drum cap and turn according to the instructions in your manual).
  • For crushing: Place the auger/screw into the drum, then insert the blank screen into the drum. Place the drum cap onto the front end of the drum and turn it anti-clockwise until it locks firmly into place.
  • Place the juice and pulp collection bowls underneath the drum of the juicer.
  • Plug the juicer into the wall socket.
  • Press the ON button. Place a few pieces of cut fruit and vegetables at a time into the feeding tube. Use the food pusher (if necessary) to gently push the produce into the juicing auger/screw. Leave the machine on as you feed the fruit and vegetables.
  • Do not place any foreign material into the feeding tube.
  • If it happens that during the juicing process the produce starts to back up, press the reverse button for a few seconds to "unclog" and then resume normal functioning.
  • To dismantle the front end assemble turn locking clip to the open position, gently pull out out the drum then remove the drum cap followed by the strainer and then remove the juicing screw. It is as simple as that!
